the things you discover.

“…a radical, an extremely conservative radical.”

Gallo

It’s moments when I find tidbits like this that I smile,

as if I’ve discovered a buried treasure  &  I think “who would have known?”

Who would have known that Vincent Gallo would craft something like this?

Lang-Gallo1

“Vincent Gallo on the campaign trail fighting for the good of everyone.”

…but sadly I can’t put it on my birthday or my Mother’s Day list BECAUSE, it’s been sold.

And it was a one-of-a-kind.

I think the Republican party needs a little weirdness.  True weirdness is good.  But I think “normal” is weird and the so-called “alternative crowd” who like to think they are weird, are really a bunch of sheep.  They are a bunch of pretenders.

Check out Gallo’s site here.

One bright spot in this administration, if there is one…almost daily SOMETHING out of the White House makes me want to barf.

It’s making for a wonderful weight loss program.

The latest yak inspiring news:

The  new Whitehouse.gov IPhone app!  This IS NOT A JOKE.  You can now take the White House with you wherever you go.

GOODY goody gum drops.

Just kidding.

Didn’t the White House super hero just mention something about not communicating ENOUGH… not getting through to the American people (this past year)?

This from the man who had MORE face time & news coverage, not to mention TIME magazine covers than ANY OTHER PRESIDENT , EVER!

Mr. President, arrogance is not virtuous.

My suggestion is,  get over yourself.

Seriously.

People have had enough of you.  More than enough.  They are turned off by you & they are turning you off—literally.

Hooray for the truck driving man!

WAY TO GO Scott Brown & THANK YOU Massachusetts!

scottbrown-1

At his victory party,  Scott Brown said he asked Obama “Would you like me to drive the truck down to Washington, so you can see it.”

And I almost FELL OUT of my seat,  laughing.

Then Olbermann cut in making fun of Brown (yes, we were in enemy territory, viewing their take on things)…stating “before we get to the family chowder recipes”…blah blah blah…”Scott Brown who is a truck driving every man who just HAPPENS to be a lawyer”…blah blah blah.

SCREEEEEEEEEEEECH, bam-WAIT!

WHAT did he say?

WHAT did he say?!

Is it all of a sudden a PROBLEM to ELECT a LAWYER ?

But NOT if the lawyer happens to be the current President or Vice President?

Am I missing something?

I guess Olbermann and other entitled Liberals have a  problem with the “every man” part of that description more so than the “lawyer” part of it.

They don’t like the “every man”.

They don’t like him at all.

But they are OUTNUMBERED.

And I am smiling.

have you met Mr. Gutfeld?

Posted: January 2nd, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

If  not, allow me to introduce you.  He’s simply my favorite.  He’s the reason I opted for the DVR option with cable.   I cannot miss an episode.  He’s quite simply, the cat’s meow.

This past Thursday’s “GREGALOGUE” is spot on.  If it seems a little like cheating, that I am just linking & referring you to another’s website, well I don’t mean to.  There’s just LOTS going on right now.  The holidays, my eye was almost knocked out by my 10 year old’s flailing arms, and I do have another blog to tend to.  So I don’t mean to cheat. Besides, I’m referring you to the best in the business.  And he’s darn cute to boot.

Here’s Mr. Gutfeld:

gutfeld

That’s his new book (which is not yet available but you should pre-order your copy NOW) & below is Thursday’s “GREGALOGUE”.  I strongly suggest you add his page to your favorites & stop by each day for his witty perspective on politics.

THURSDAY’S GREGALOGUE: TERROR OFFSETS

So this is normally the time for the media’s “winners and losers” lists, but this year, who needs it. We know the winners are the folks on Flight 253. The losers? The rest of us.

See, those passengers survived because of a crappy explosive and their own bravery. They were not saved by our Homeland Security, or our President’s “cool” approach to fighting terror.

And that scares the crap out of me. And it should scare the crap out of you.

And it all goes back to the Climate Change conference.

Can you believe in a decade marked by the greatest challenge in our lifetimes – terror – that our President seems more focused on ice caps than icing terrorists? Sorry: America should have insisted on a worldwide conference on terror, well before one on climate change. Fact is, terrorists, – not temperature – go out of their way to kill people. And if your country doesn’t renounce that kind of “man-caused” activity, then the U.S. should assert our dissatisfaction, in drones (I call that “terror offsets.”)

I also think everyone should pretend the attack on Flight 253 succeeded. After all, an attempt at terror is still terror by definition – regardless of the terrorist’s competence. Sadly, it’s our government who disdains the word “terror” more so than they do actual terrorists. With this Administration, every act of terror is just an “isolated extremist,” untethered to belief – and that prevents Obama from “connecting the dots,” even when those dots are located on exploding underpants.

And if you disagree with me, then you’re probably a racist homophobe who hates the planet.
